KORVEN KUNINGAS!!!

I know its been a few weeks since the official release, but I finally got my copy this weekend, and am loving it. I will type up the english lyrics for a journal within the next week and a half. Lets see some opinions on the album in the comments to this journal!


Its time for a small contest in honor of the new album. Unfortunately as I am a broke art student, I can't offer a wide assortment of amazing prizes, so first prize will be "featured" deviation until we hold another mini-contest, which could easily be about 6-10 months of publicity for the winner. But really, this is just an excuse for you to take a break from schoolwork, paidwork, housework, and other boring tasks and do something fun!

We may submit work as this is a casual contest, but are disqualified from winning.

You have until May 14; so a full month to relax, turn up the new album, and come up with a little something based on some facet of the new album, be it a song lyric, a spoof of the album art, a portrait of the band members jamming, a logo for the album, whatever. Any medium, submitted directly to Korpiklaani-fanclub through pm with the message subject "korven kuningas contest". We will not post the artwork until after the contest is over, but try to get your work in early so as not to miss the deadline.
